Lotina Kutija / Lota’s Box

Lota’s box was founded to promote values of democracy, active citizenship and equality. They are based in Zagreb, capital of Croatia and have 4 volunteers working on the projects. Projects are mostly based on activities related to youth in their community promoting lifelong learning, active citizenship, and European values. Main project were related to quality time spent together for the local children: playing games, exchanging stickers, playing table tennis etc. They established a community spot where books can be exchanged. Forum 2000

The Forum 2000 Foundation in Prague, Czech Republic pursues the legacy of Václav Havel by supporting the values of democracy and respect for human rights, assisting the development of civil society, and encouraging religious, cultural and ethnic tolerance. It provides a platform for global leaders, as well as thinkers and courageous individuals from every field of endeavor, to openly debate and share these critical issues. Read more here

The Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights 

The Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights (PpDM) is a social, cultural, and humanist non-governmental organisation, independent from political parties, religious institutions or governmental structures, whose members are women’s rights NGOs. It was created on November 12th 2004 and its main objective is to foster cooperation for collective reflection and action in the promotion of women’s rights and gender equality through several means, such as research, lobbying, dissemination of information, awareness-raising and training. Estonian Human Rights Centre

Estonian Human Rights Centre is an independent non-governmental human rights advocacy organisation. EHRC was founded in December 2009. EHRC has quickly developed to be the most well-known human rights NGO in Estonia. The Estonian Human Rights Centre’s mission is to create an Estonia that respects the human rights of every person. The Centre’s vision for 2025 is that Estonia is an open society where human rights are important and guaranteed by the state, and everyone knows that their rights, as well as others’ deserve protection. The Peace Institute / Mirovni Institut

The Peace Institute – Institute for Contemporary Social and Political Studies – is a independent and non-profit research institution founded in 1991 by individuals who believed in peaceful conflict resolution, equality and respect for human rights standards. The Institute uses scientific research and advocacy activities aimed at creating and an preserving open society capable of critical thought and based on the principles of equality, responsibility, solidarity, human rights and the rule of law. Bulgarian Association for Promotion of Citizens Initiative

The organization aims to support democratization and modernization in Bulgaria, to promote the decision-making process for direct and democratic participation, good governance and sustainable local and regional development. BAPCI's projects and activities have been financially supported by the Phare Program of the European Union, the Open Society Foundation, the Democratic Commission at the US Embassy in Bulgaria, the CEE Trust for the Development of Civil Society, in Bulgarian - the American Society, EU Youth in Action, European and Bulgarian donor organizations.
