Erwin Mayer works as a consultant on energy issues. From 1997 until 2008 he was an energy campaigner at Greenpeace, Austria. From 2008-2013 he worked as an independent consultant in the field of climate and energy. Erwin also held the position of deputy managing director at Kleinwasserkraft Österreich and since 2016 at Erneuerbare Energie Österreich.
