As a political scientist Bruno is the author of various publications about direct democracy at the local and transnational level. He chairs the Initiative and Referendum Institute Europe and has been very active as a co-founder and co-president of the Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy.

Bruno reports as Correspondent for the Swiss Broadcasting Company and is Editor-in-chief of the global media initiative people2power.info, covering democratic affairs around the world.
