EU Commission blocks democratic reform!

On 24 October 2016 Democracy International was in Brussels to hand over this petition signed by 40,996 people from across Europe. 

We gave them to the Cabinet Member of EU Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans. After the action we met with him for an hour to discuss our demands and the next steps for the EU Commission. He promised to work closely with us to improve the European Citizens’ Initiative.
