The 9th annual ECI Day will take place on February 25 at the European Economic and Social Committee. This year, organisers and stakeholders will be invited to share their dreams and visions for the ECI and for citizens’ participation in Europe. Democracy International is a permanent ECI Day partner, and this year we will be presenting our ideas for how the ECI can evolve to become a real citizens’ initiative process leading to an EU-wide referendum on popular subjects, as well as our vision for a global ECI – a UN World Citizens’ Initiative!
Join us and let’s imagine the participatory democracy of tomorrow!
When: Tuesday, 25 February – 10am to 5pm
Where: European Economic and Social Committee, Rue Belliard 99 (Atrium 5), 1040 Brussels
