Summary
Qëndresa Mejzini is Fundraising and Project Coordinator, working on EU funding proposals with particular emphasis on Erasmus+ project development and implementation. She supports youth projects and youth participation.
Biography

Qëndresa studied Law at the University of Pristina and holds a Master of Arts in Human Rights from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. During her studies, she was involved in various initiatives focused on citizen participation, human rights, EU cooperation, and transitional justice. She has coordinated the annual Kosovo field trip for the EMA programme for the past three years, working alongside a dedicated team, and has been involved in international programmes including the Humanity in Action Network as a Berlin Fellow in 2024 and the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Competition. In the past year, she has also taken on a part-time role as European Fundraising Manager at the Swiss Democracy Foundation, a longstanding partner of Democracy International. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of EU funding applications and facilitate cooperation with project partners. 
  • Write and implement Erasmus+ project applications and activities.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of youth activities.
