Dear Members of Democracy International,

We hereby invite you to Democracy International’s next General Assembly to take place in Taichung, Taiwan, on 2 October 2019 (Time: 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm, venue: Hotel National, No.57 Guanqian Road, West Dist., Taichung City 40353, Taiwan).

The General Assembly will precede the Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy to take place from 2 to 5 October 2019. According to the Democracy International statutes, the General Assembly must be held within every three years in order to discuss the principles and objectives of our association and serve as an opportunity to meet in person. The topics at this year's General Assembly will be in particular the adoption of a new budget for the year 2020 and an update on DI's activities and projects over the past year. And of course, we are looking forward to giving you an overview of the exciting activities of Democracy International planned for the upcoming year.

Die Mitgliederversammlung ist Teil des “Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy”, das vom 02.10. – 05.10.2019 stattfinden wird.

Gemäß unserer Satzung halten wir mindestens alle drei Jahre eine Mitgliederversammlung ab, um die Prinzipien und Ziele unserer Organisation zu besprechen sowie uns persönlich zu treffen. Die Themen auf der diesjährigen Mitgliederversammlung werden insbesondere die Verabschiedung eines Budgets für das Jahr 2020 und der Bericht über unsere Tätigkeiten im vergangenen Jahr sein. Und natürlich freuen wir uns, Euch einen Ausblick auf die spannenden Aktivitäten von Democracy International im nächsten Jahr zu geben.

Par la présente nous vous invitons à la prochaine assemblée générale de Democracy International à Taichung, Taïwan, le 02.10.2019 (durée: de 15h00 à 17h00, lieu : Hotel National, No.57 Guanqian Road, West Dist., Taichung City 40353, Taïwan).

L'Assemblée générale fait partie du Forum Mondial sur la Démocratie Directe Moderne (Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy), qui se tiendra du 02.10. au 05.10.2019.

Conformément à nos statuts, nous tenons une assemblée générale au moins tous les trois ans pour discuter des principes et des objectifs de notre organisation et pour nous rencontrer personnellement.
